"Sericis" means "silky" in Latin. This wine's name and smooth mouthfeel pay tribute to Requena's silk trade and Casa de la Seda guild house. It is made using Bobal grapes and is matured for at least 8 months in French oak casks.
Enticing aromas of stewed dark fruit, damson plums, blackberries, black cherry, baking spice, and oak. Flavours of toasted vanilla, cherry jam, and chocolate. This wine is perfectly combined with a light meal, fish sauce, pasta, rice-based and grilled meats prepared in the traditional way or on the grill.
