Made with the finest hops, yeast and fresh mountain water, Eclipse gets its unique character from more than 18 carefully selected ingredients. Every year our brewers pair the best barrels we can find to develop a variety of unique styles, and our 2021 vintage has some of our classics, with some new innovative styles.There is no dark beer like Eclipse. If you’ve tasted it, you know. If you haven’t, it goes something like this: The aroma of malt is followed by the first taste, with notes of dark chocolate,espresso and warmth from the higher alcohol content. Oak barrel character comes into play with hints of vanilla and coconut, followed by some complimentary bitterness from the hops. The finish is a long, lingering moment with hints of tobacco, dried fruit and then a final note of chocolate balanced by the unique style of aged barrel and other selected ingredients.
